Remington Ryde set to perform October 9

The Eastern Shore Bluegrass Association will host a concert by Remington Ryde at the Marydel Firehouse on Firehouse Lane in Marydel, Del., on Sunday, October 9.

This is a very popular group and you are urged to come early to get a good seat.Remington Ryde

The band has been together for 12 years and has been performing more than 100 shows per year throughout the United States and Canada.

Remington Ryde's distinct sound and old time flair can be attributed to the bluegrass-rich area of Pennsylvania from which they borrow their name.

As the founding member and leader of Remington Ryde, Ryan Frankhouser's showmanship and chemistry with the audience turns the fans into family. Billy Lee's humor, wit and ever encouraging and uplifting approach to life shows clearly on stage and off.

The group is lead by Ryan on guitar and lead vocals. Also featured are Billy Lee on banjo and bas vocals, Richard Egolf on bass and tenor vocals and Warren Blair on fiddle and baritone vocals.

Please join us and bring a friend. Admission is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Doors open at noon with the music starting at 1 p.m. Food by the Marydel Fire Co. Auxiliary will be available. For information, call Ann or Ed Vogt  at 410-648-5366 .
